We took the long spin out to Navan on Saturday and the dreaded gravel pitch! Some of us had never played on gravel before and those that had it had been awhile....we started off slowly and were unfortunately 2-0 down at half time. The second half was much stronger from Clontarf and the final goal was literally a short corner given on the final whistle...very unfortunate. The defence played a blinder and as a result it was very tough to pick woman of the match but it was decided on Katie O'Grady. Well done Katie and all the girls who fought a hard fight in a bitterly cold wind on the wet gravel pitch in Navan!
